March has been a blur, full of new experiences and philosophies and a couple of life changes. What a better time to start a blog to share some of these moments. If not so that my triumphs and fails can be a source of entertainment to you, then for me, to look back on in 6 months, a year, 2 years.
This blog will contain a hodge-podge of things, dating stories and design tips, meal ideas and grocery shopping on a budget, rock climbing, yoga and meditation, marathon training, dogs and cats, family and friends, fashion and accessories, and news from around the web. So, nothing in particular, nothing focused, except for a little look into my little life.
Maybe a something about me to start us off…
I’m just a girl from a large cold, blustery winter city and a warm, active, adventurous summer city. A 20-something who loves anything new and exciting and who takes on way too many projects at once in an attempt to make life as interesting as possible. I’m single now, and have been for the past year and a half after a long and serious relationship. I’m dating now, which always makes for interesting stories and even life lessons. I work hard, I have a full time job involving children and I am also a full time student. I spend much of my time studying and working, but try to make up for that in the evenings and the weekends by taking to enjoy things that I love. I’m currently training for my first marathon, currently experimenting with vegetarianism, currently getting into yoga and meditation. I recently moved a few blocks down the street (ridiculous I know) but I’m enjoying setting up my new place just how I like it. I have a passion for decorating. I have a big friendly dog named Moose and a cuddly cat named Tipper and a few great friends and an awesome family. Mostly life is good, and even when it’s not I’m still trying to have a positive outlook. Life is too special, and too short to spend one day unhappy or doing something you don’t love.
